Classroom Updates
ENGINEERING B120 - The classroom has undergone a major renovation, with new paneling, lighting, painting and a new wall screen. There is currently a data projector, dvd and vcr located in the projection booth in the rear of the room. Please contact our office for the combination for access. There is also a VGA data cable attached to the table in the front of the room for you to connect your laptop. Due to construction delays with the vendor, the new enhanced podium with a full assortment of audio visual equipment, will be installed during the month of September, 2004. A brighter, more powerful data projector will also be installed, as well as internet access.
BECK 251 - The classroom has undergone a major renovation with the installation of permanent stadium seating, new carpeting and painting. A new dvd player has been installed. The data projector is scheuduled to be installed within the next 2 weeks, however, the room is fully operational.
ART HISTORY 100 & 200 - These two 60 & 150 seat classrooms have been upgraded to include data projection capabilty, as well as vcr and dvd equipment. These rooms are operated by a push button SP Control system, which is located in the front of the room, stage left. These rooms could not handle laptop projection prior to this upgrade.
RUTH ADAMS 104, HICKMAN 216, FOOD SCIENCE 109 - These enhanced classrooms have been upgraded. The 36" monitors have been removed and new data projectors and sound systems have been installed in each of these 3 rooms. All three rooms also have dvd capabilities.
BECK AUDITORIUM - This lecture hall is now equipped with the Personal Response System hardware.
All enhanced classrooms now are equipped with dvd players. The classrooms that were updated this summer are: BECK 201, 213, 219, 221, 250, 251, 252 & 253; LSH B205; MURRAY 111 & 113; ARC 203; RUTH ADAMS 104, LOREE 020 & 024.
RUTH ADAMS 206 - this room can now handle laptop projection. There is a cable run to the front of the classroom. Plans are underway to install a dvd player later in the month. If you need to show a dvd, please contact our office.
