RAB-001 Audio malfunction

The program audio in RAB-001 (used in connection with VCR's, DVD's, etc.) was producing excessive noise and we shut it down for repair. Until repairs have been completed, audio will be generated by a portable speaker that we set on top of the podium.

Operation is fairly simple. The speaker should turn on when the system is activated. A red light will be seen on the front. If not, then then speaker may be turned on manually by pushing a rocker switch on the back. Volume may be adjusted with a knob on the front.

Hickman 138 screen

Please be advised that the center projection screen in Hickman 138 is stuck in the down position and can not retract back into the housing. Due to the heavy usage of the lecture hall, and the time required to make the repairs, the earliest we can have a vendor come in to conduct the repairs will be Friday, January 27.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

ARC 203

Please be advised that the operating system in ARC 203 was vandalized over the winter break. The Crestron control system has been damaged and needs to be replaced. Until the system is repaired, the data projector and the video equipment can be utilized via manual operation. The instructions are posted on the podium in that classroom on our webpage (http://cat.rutgers.edu/ecs/arc203.htm). If you need assistance, please contact our office at 5-3612. We apologize for any inconvenience and will notify you once the system is repaired and back on-line
